The Second Project Vehicle Here it is a 1971 VW Bus/ Camper The Beginning,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, This is not a restoration, but a customization.
This bus will not be restored to its original as it will have some unique paint work. Here is the beginning of this paint work.
September 23, 2006 Here are some pictures throughout the process.

Notice the canvas needs to be replaced? It's here and the instructions say it can take up to 9 hours.
Newly rebuilt rear closet storage.
Refaced interior cabinets, just before the doors to be installed.
October 1, 2006
As of October 8th, we are down to the final completion stages. Below show the new canvas installed. the cabinet work is nearly complete, the curtains are done except for the back window. The bus does run and drive now, and has all 4 new tires.
And look there is Kristan in the top bunk.
