Camping trip Memorial Day weekend 2007 at Silver Creek Plunge above Crouch, ID
Above the girls and I at the camp site.
When someone gets sick in the pool, they drain it completely down, and refill with the natural hot springs. The Pool, which is a natural 90 degrees constant, not bad when the temp outside is 65 degrees. Since Idaho Power would charge nearly 6 million dollars to bring power to Silver Creek Plunge, they produce their own power. This is enough power for their buildings, and several cabins in the area. They also have a generator as a back up which they say may get turned on twice a year. |
